BVI Chamber of Commerce Seeks Feedback on Crime Impacting Business Community

Tortola, BVI 7th February 2024  – The BVI Chamber of Commerce (BVICoC) is reaching out to the business community to gather insights and feedback on the issue of crime and its impact on businesses in the British Virgin Islands.
As the leading advocate for businesses across the territory, the BVICoC recognizes the importance of addressing concerns related to crime and its effects on our society. Understanding the challenges faced by business owners is crucial in formulating effective strategies to advocate for safer environments and support systems.

"We value the input of our business community and believe that your feedback is instrumental in guiding our advocacy efforts. By understanding the experiences and perspectives of local businesses regarding crime, we can better advocate for measures that promote safety and security for all," expressed the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mrs. Shaina M. Smith-Archer.

The BVICoC invites business owners to share their thoughts, experiences, and suggestions on how crime impacts their operations, the wider community, and what actions the Chamber of Commerce can take to advocate on their behalf by taking the business crime survey at https://forms.gle/svT5tx3bMVv5r9bX8. Your contribution is essential in shaping the Chamber's advocacy agenda and ensuring that the voices of business owners are heard at all levels of decision-making.

"We thank you in advance for your valuable contributions to this important discussion," added Mrs. Smith-Archer. "Together, we can work towards creating a safer and more conducive environment for businesses to thrive."

Business owners and stakeholders can also submit their feedback and suggestions to the BVICoC via email at advocacy@bvichamber.org.
